Research Assistants (Multiple Positions)

Responsibilities
Collaborate with faculty members and research teams to design, execute, and analyze projects in the area of experimental thermal-hydraulics.
Conduct literature reviews to gather relevant information and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of nuclear thermal-hydraulics.
Collect and analyze numerical and experimental data using various qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Assist with the preparation and submission of research manuscripts and conference presentations.
Present research findings at local, national, and international conferences, as appropriate.
Attend and actively participate in research meetings, workshops, and seminars.
Contribute to the development of new research ideas and methodologies.
Mentor and support undergraduate research assistants.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in nuclear or mechanical engineering major.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Familiarity with experimental techniques, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems related to thermal-hydraulic research.
Familiarity with computational simulation tools (e.g., RELAP5, ANSYS FLUENT, STAR-CCM+, etc.) is a plus.
Prior research experience in experimental thermal-hydraulics, including conference presentations and/or publications, is an asset.
